Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director who is best known as the star of Birdman. An actor with a variety of talents, he's skilled in playing comedy as well as dramatic parts. He's also played several romantic characters and played in numerous action films during his professional career. As a teenager, he began to develop an interest in both acting as well as performing. Later, as an aspiring youngster, he tried stand-up humor. The comedian had a lousy career but this paved the way to his career as an actor. It was not easy to find success as comedian, so the next step was to become a cameraman on the cable channel. He realized that his true interest was front of the camera while he worked at the station. He was then able to secure an appearance on television and was in many shows of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The actor was naturally talented and became very popular on television. After establishing a successful acting career in film, his comedic performance earned him lots of fame. The accolades grew as he played Batman's own superhero in Tim Burton's Batman. With time he matured as an actor, and began to work in direction and production. For his role in Birdman (2014) He received numerous awards and nominations.
