Michael Keaton (born Michael Keaton) is an American actor who has worked as a director, producer as well as a producer. Keaton is best known for his role in the movie 'Birdman. He developed an interest in performing and acting when he was in his teens and tried his luck at stand-up comedy when he was a young man. This job was where he discovered that the only thing he really wanted was to perform before cameras. After a couple of episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he was able to get a television part. His natural talent as an actor made him popular in TV. When he began his film career, he had high aspirations and gained acclaim for his comic role. His fame grew for his portrayal of the famous superhero as Tim Burton's Batman. With time he matured as an actor and also began to work in direction and production. The 2013 Birdman film garnered him numerous awards and nominations.
